Hemp is a rotational break crop that improves soil structure, suppresses weeds without herbicide, and generates returns of £1,600 or more per acre through processed output streams. The Hemp Growers Co-operative gives you ownership of the processing margin — not just the farm gate price.
The first growing season is being planned now. If you farm in Wales and want to understand the agronomics, the licensing requirements, and the commercial terms before committing to anything, this is where that conversation starts.

The supply chain is already designed. Wales needs to decide.
Hemp sits at the intersection of the Sustainable Farming Scheme, the Welsh Bioeconomy Strategy, and the Welsh Government's net zero commitments. The processing infrastructure, the co-operative instrument, and the market offtake relationships are all in development.
Hemp Cymru is available to brief Senedd members, Welsh Government officials, and policy advisors on the economic case, the regulatory landscape, and the specific actions that would accelerate a Welsh hemp sector. We work across party lines. The economics are not ideological.

This is how an economy gets built.
Hemp Cymru is not a campaign. It is not a petition. It is the early infrastructure of a supply chain — the legal entities, the farmer relationships, the policy engagement, and the processing architecture that a Welsh hemp economy requires.
Supporters help fund the platform work: the events, the communications, the policy documentation, and the network that connects farmers to markets and markets to policy. When donations open, every contribution funds something specific. Nothing goes to overhead that does not serve the supply chain.

The Hemp Cymru structure is built for investment at three distinct levels: the Platform CLG (community benefit), the Hemp Growers Co-operative (farmer-owned processing margin), and Hemp Processing & Trading Ltd (the commercial processing and offtake vehicle).
Each entity has a different risk profile, a different return mechanism, and a different relationship to the public interest case. A prospectus is available on request. We do not publish speculative projections. We present the structure, the market evidence, and the regulatory context — and let the numbers speak.
